Terms of use
Effective from 18 October 2026.
1. Operator
Kuttenberg Market (the "marketplace") is operated by Yumemi s.r.o., company ID 23577827, VAT CZ23577827, registered at Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic (the "operator"). Contact: [email protected].
The marketplace is a fan project of the community around the KCD:MP multiplayer framework. It is not affiliated with Warhorse Studios, Deep Silver / PLAION or the KCD:MP team, and uses their trademarks only to describe compatibility.
2. The service
The marketplace lets you find, download, rate and discuss content for KCD:MP servers (game modes, modules, scripts, maps, configuration, mods) and publish your own. The service is free. No paid content is offered until Warhorse / PLAION give written permission. Creators may add a link for a voluntary tip on an approved platform (Ko-fi, Patreon, PayPal and others). The payment happens directly between you and the creator outside the marketplace; the operator receives nothing from it and is not responsible for it.
3. Your account
- You sign up and sign in with Steam, Discord or Google, with a link sent by e-mail, or with an e-mail and a password. You are responsible for keeping your e-mail, your accounts with those services and your password secure.
- You must be at least 15 years old. Publishing requires two-factor authentication.
- Use accounts and creator profiles honestly: no fake accounts for ratings, votes or downloads.
4. Creator content
- Creators confirm they hold all rights needed for the content, images and videos they upload, and that it complies with the Content policy and third-party rights.
- Instead of an upload, a version can link to a file on an allowed host (for example a GitHub release). The operator checks it like an upload, verifies regularly that it has not changed and stops offering a changed or unreachable file. Links to other mod sites are not allowed.
- Creators keep ownership. By uploading, you grant the operator a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, technically process (image conversion, file signing), review, display and distribute the content through the marketplace while it is published, and for a reasonable time afterwards for backups and dispute handling.
- Users download content under the licence the creator chose (e.g. MIT, GPL, CC). Content marked "proprietary" may be used on your own server but not redistributed.
- Game mods are also subject to Warhorse / PLAION rules for user-generated content. Content must not appear official.
5. Review and moderation
Every uploaded package goes through an automated security check and, depending on the risk, a moderator review. The operator may reject, hide or remove content and restrict or ban accounts that break these terms, the Content policy or the law. Every decision comes with reasons and can be appealed (see Notices & contact).
6. Security and liability
- KCD:MP server scripts run without a sandbox and can access the server they run on. Reviews reduce the risk but do not guarantee content is free of defects or safe. Test content before using it on a live server and keep backups.
- Content is provided by creators, not by the operator. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage caused by third-party content, service outages or data loss. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract.
7. Paid promotion
- Places for promoting published items (on the home page, at the top of a category, a highlighted card) and game servers (top of the server list, the home page row, a highlighted server) are sold in hourly auctions. A server can only be promoted by the profile that proved it runs it (with a code in the server description); an offline server does not win. The places, their floor prices and current prices are on the Promotion page. Prices are final and include VAT where it applies.
- Promotion is paid from the prepaid credit of the creator profile. Credit is topped up by card (Stripe), by bank transfer with the variable symbol, or with crypto through NOWPayments (rate locked while paying; the EUR amount counts) and added once the payment arrives. Credit bears no interest and cannot be moved to another profile.
- A creator places a bid: the most per hour, the period and an optional total budget. Five minutes before every full hour the operator settles the auction: free seats go to the highest bids that the credit and budget cover (the earlier bid wins a tie). All winners pay the same price: the best losing bid plus the bid step, at least the floor price and never more than their own bid. The price is taken from the credit for the whole won hour.
- A bid can be changed, paused or ended at any time; changes apply from the next settlement. Some seats may hold an editorial "Featured" pick.
- Promotion is always labelled "Sponsored · paid by <creator>". It never changes organic ranking, leaderboards, ratings or content review.
- The operator may refuse or end a promotion when the item breaks the content rules or moderators hide it; a hidden item does not win. Won hours are not refunded, as the service has been provided.
- Unused credit is returned on request sent to [email protected], the same way it was paid, except for serious breaches of the rules.
- The operator issues a payment receipt on request; for card payments Stripe sends one as well.
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. The operator may change or discontinue the service and will announce a shutdown on the website with reasonable notice.
9. Changes and governing law
We announce material changes to these terms on the website at least 14 days in advance; continuing to use the service means you accept them. These terms are governed by Czech law. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution at the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).
